First, I generated scenarios that would feel fun to experience in three dimensions, yet provide opportunities for product messages. Viewers wore Scion-branded 3D glasses and enjoyed fun sensory enhancements -- a rumbling subwoofer, and a wind machine, and bubble generator. The choice to create the world in black and white allowed us to make subtle highlights in color. However, as an added bonus, the black and white aesthetic allows this film to be presented in anaglyph (red / blue) without losing color information -- so a viewer with glasses can watch it at home and enjoy a satisfying 3D experience.
